We all deal with people who are a joy to love and those who are difficult to love. Come join us for a fun-filled weekend as we learn how to love well. Through video we will hear from best-selling author and teacher Beth Moore, enjoy fun fellowship with other women, laugh our heads off, shed a few tears, eat, stay up late, make new friends, and enjoy old friends. It’s a weekend you don’t want to miss!

Help Record CCA’s History

Remember that summer when you really encountered God in a new way at camp? That time the Dean made everyone do that crazy activity? When you got baptized or made a commitment to work in ministry? Or that quintessential worship night? What do those memories mean to you? How have these memories impacted your life? Share it with us! We would love to compile old group pictures, videos, and stories into an ongoing log of the camp’s history, in honor of the camp’s 55th anniversary. There are currently some photographic gaps that we would love to fill. If you have any memories or stories relating to the foundation, development, or evolution of the camp over time, those would be especially appreciated. We will have a digital as well as physical copy at CCA so we can all enjoy and reminisce with each other. Please include all the information you have with each memory you send in, such as the date, names of those involved, significant events at that time, etc.

2015 Calendar

This year one of our alumni has made a calendar with camp photos and important camp dates on it.  A package of calendars was sent to each of the supporting churches with a suggested donation of $20 per calendar.  The demand for calendars turned out to be much greater than expected, and requests for more calendars have been made.  So now you get another chance to get a 2015 camp calendar!

2014 Prayer Month of May for CCA!

2014 Prayer Month of May for CCA!

Everything we do at CCA is focused on a relationship with Jesus. And the key to a healthy relationship is good communication. This is why we wish to dedicate the month of May every year to prayer for the camp. Our goal is that God is glorified before camp, during camp and after camp!

Below is a suggested prayer schedule you can use as a personal guide or to lead prayer in your church.  Please print and share in your churches!

Week 1: Deans, counselors, worship leaders, and all camp staff and volunteers – For their preparations, and that they would be able to minister effectively and grow personally.  That they would come open to accomplishing whatever it takes to create an incredible summer for the glory of God!

Week 2: Campers – For Christ to work in their lives, for them to mature in their beliefs, for sin to lose its grip on their life!

Week 3: Development and Outreach – That CCA would reach new people in ways never thought possible. For wisdom and foresight for the Executive Committee members!

Week 4: God would be honored – That God would receive glory in everything that happens at CCA: in the planning for camp, during camp weeks, and after campers go home!

Prayer for Sandy Hook Elementary

This past Friday, December 14th, twenty-six victims were shot and killed by a gunman who then took his own life at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

This tragedy hits close to home for CCA because our primary mission is teaching young people how much Christ loves them and values their life. It also affects CCA closely because the location of the shooting is in the same town as one of our supporting churches. Jack Tanner, the minister of the Newtown Christian Church, has posted on Facebook that he is “presently meeting with families that need to talk” and that “it has been heart wrenching.” He also thanks everyone for their prayers for Newtown.

This tragedy is larger then any emotion can comprehend and more wrong than any human can set right again. But we serve a God who is bigger. Please pray that God will show up in a big way. Pray for light in a dark place. Pray for Jack and other believers in Newtown to be a source of peace and comfort as people are searching for answers.

Online Donations Are Here!

Donating to CCA just got easier. PayPal has made it easy for us to set up online donations that accept your PayPal account or a credit/debit card. This is so exciting!  I know most of you won’t be able to help yourself from going to our online donation page and typing in your card information, I know I couldn’t resist!  Next time you get an itch to go out and spend some money all you have to do is pay a visit to  This method guarantees less clutter in your closet, less junk in your trunk, more tread on your tires, more time online, less time in line, and more glory in eternity! (Post your other rhymes below or on Facebook.)

Camper Fund

We are currently raising an estimated $2,200.00 for our camper fund. We would like to send ten kids to camp this year who may not be able to go otherwise. Many churches already have a camper fund, and this is not designed to replace those funds. We hope to target first time campers and possibly new churches. If you would like to donate to our Camper Fund, please send a check earmarked “Camper Fund.”
