Dear friend’s of Catskill Christian,
It is with great joy that I write to you today and share my delights and my concerns with you. I wish I could talk personally with you about these matters, but since I can’t meet with all of you, I’ll write to you instead.
My delights include the increased use of the camp grounds and the commitment of those who faithfully come up and use the camp. I praise God for our dedicated teachers, our deans, and for the blessings of each camper. Our friends of the camp make the manager’s job so enriching. Without you, I would not be able to do this work.
My concerns are for our buildings. With the increased activity and more use, I long to see our facilities spruced up and some new equipment installed. We were given a complete playground set worth $35,000. We will need to get it to the camp and get the ground ready for the set. That will take about $5000. We also need the next section of the roof installed. That will cost about $9000. Can we accomplish this? YES WE CAN—WITH GOD’S HELP!
God can supply over and above what we ask or think. I pray and ask you to pray that many of our dear friends will give a gift over and above their present commitments to the camp.
Please pray with me. Consider what you can do, and if possible, please offer to help in cleaning the camp as we work on these other projects.

I would also like to tell you about the reunion for the campers of the 70’s. It will be from July 3rd thru the 6th Mr. And Mrs. Miller will be there to share old stories with each of us. They would love to hear what each of you are up to. Diane Serio (Allen) is behind the idea. E-mail her your email address, and we will keep everyone in touch.
